Olivia & Jack's Modern Wedding at Red Hill Estate

With a theme that's a fusion of formal, modern, and elegant, Olivia and Jack embarked on their journey into marital bliss with a wedding that was nothing short of spectacular.

Their heartfelt ceremony took place at the Discover Church in Skye. Celeb Nicholes curated their I Dos in front of their closest friends and family. Olivia stunned in an intricate dress by Karen Willis Holmes and hair and makeup from Prive Hair Australia. While Jack kept it classy by sporting a black and white suite to complement the bride. After the heartfelt vows and joyous moments, a delightful Afternoon Tea Time entertained their guests before the grand reception at the illustrious Red Hill Estate in Red Hill.

As the sun set on the expanse of the venue, the reception kicked off, and the party was set into motion with surprises and loads of fun thanks to entertainment by Dance Biz. Olivia and Jack made sure to treat their guests with a stylish and cohesive look for the soirée.

When asked what they were most looking forward to on their big day, Olivia and Jack shared, "We are most looking forward to sharing the most significant day of our lives with our friends and family." It was definitely the case on the day as the bride and groom beamed in happiness and love all throughout the festivities.

Olivia & Jack's love story, which began in 2015 at a church camp in Halls Gap, has been a testament to patience and the growth of a deep and meaningful connection.

Jack was smitten from the moment he laid eyes on Olivia. She embodied everything he had ever dreamt of in a future wife - a fervent love for Jesus, athleticism, towering grace, and an unwavering kindness toward others. For Olivia, Jack was the spirited, talkative boy whose company she couldn't help but enjoy.

Their journey from that fateful campfire began with Jack managing to secure Olivia's phone number. What followed was a four-year-long-distance friendship filled with countless phone calls, heartfelt messages, and meet-ups at various church camps.

In 2019, both Jack and Olivia took a leap of faith and moved to the Southeastern Suburbs of Melbourne to pursue a Christian Leadership course. Their long-distance friendship transitioned into a friendship in the flesh. As time went on, Olivia started to see Jack in a new light, leading to a more intentional exploration of their feelings during the challenging days of Covid lockdowns in 2020.

By the end of that year, their friendship had transformed into a beautiful romance. Jack's penchant for romance was evident from their very first date at Sails Restaurant in Noosa. Over the next two years, he continued to sweep Olivia off her feet with numerous dinners, exciting activities, and memorable trips.

The fairytale continued on May 16th, 2023, when Jack orchestrated a surprise proposal that left Olivia utterly speechless. Olivia thought she was helping Jack organise his new home after his recent move, but he had an entirely different plan in mind. Jack surprised her with a romantic date to some of their favourite and most cherished places, including Oliver's Hill in Frankston, Rare Hare Restaurant in Balnarring, and Flinders Blowhole in Flinders.

At each location, Jack read scriptures and shared the things he loved most about Olivia, building up to the grand moment. Olivia's surprise reached its peak when she arrived back at her home to find it beautifully decorated for a proposal. Jack chose her home because it was where he first asked her to be his girlfriend, a significant place in their love story's growth. Amidst candles, rose petals, balloons, and a heartfelt "will you marry me?" sign, Jack dropped to one knee and asked the question he had dreamed of asking Olivia for so long.

And so, their journey into forever began with that resounding "yes," setting the stage for a wedding that is bound to be a reflection of the love, joy, and commitment that define Olivia and Jack's remarkable story.
