Caitlyn & Jake's Boho Wedding at Barn Events

Romantic, laid back and absolutely heartfelt— Caitlyn and Jake's I Do's was an unforgettable celebration of love and laughter at Barn Events last December 7th. Surrounded by closest family and friends, the couple found their rustic boho vision come to life from start to finish.

The bride bloomed with her intricate dress expertly enhanced by her stunning hair and makeup from Chantelle Does Hair and Make Me Up by Erin. The groom also stood gallantly in his classic suit, complementing his bride's style.

The day unfolded with a heartwarming first look, where Caitlyn & Jake shared their first glance at each other. It was a butterflies-in-the-belly sort of moment as the groom turned around to reveal their stunning final wedding looks.

Their beautiful ceremony officiated by Ceremonies with Haylie became even more magical as the bride and groom walked down the aisle to the enchanting tunes of Caitlyn Alys, their guests were filled with joy and anticipation. The ceremony was beautifully styled by Celebrait Wedding Co., with floral arrangements by Buds n Roses.

Their wedding entourage welcomed the new Mr. & Mrs. with hugs and kisses. Their family portraits especially with their loving son Coda captured the blossoming happiness in their first moments as husband and wife. Their adorable dog also made it to the big day, well taken care of by The Wedding Sitter.

The reception at Barn Events was a vibrant affair, filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and delicious food from Hot Coals Catering. A key moment during the reception was their first dance, a preface to the fun party ahead.

I also the couple for a quick walk around the barn to capture the sunset and those few minutes felt like a sweet little bubble of intimacy for them to take in all of the day's events.

Later that evening, the dance floor became electric, with guests grooving to the beats of IT Entertainment. James Jack Weddings also captured every precious moment in film, and ensuring that the couple's big day was success were coordinators Celebrait Wedding Co. and Hitched and Content.

When asked about what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, Caitlyn and Jake shared, "Celebrating our love with our favorite people, creating memories, and having a boogie on the dance floor."

Their love story began on the basketball court, where they met as referees and formed a strong friendship. After five years, their friendship blossomed into love. Their first date at the Grove Train was a memorable experience, delayed by the pandemic but ultimately adding to the sweetness of their love story.

On December 3, 2022, Jake proposed to Caitlyn at the picturesque Warrandyte River, marking the beginning of their journey towards forever.
