Steve and Marie’s love story is so unique and beautiful. After crossing paths at Black Rock Primary School in 2015 when Marie was filling in as an emergency relief teacher and “caught Steve’s eye straight away”.

A first date at Rococo in StKilda and a secret relationship was on the cards to start however the news soon got out and their family and friends couldn’t have been happier.

Fast Forward 5 years to November 2020 and Steve has organised a romantic picnic in the backyard with flowers, cheeses and champagne. Marie, unaware as she’d disappeared off for lunch with a friend (all orchestrated by Steve of course), came home and was greeted by a sign to head around the back with Steve there waiting on one knee.

It was then on to wedding planning. Trofeo Estate had them hooked and could see themselves being married in the gardens and partying all night long on the dance floor! They wanted a relaxed and fun day full of great food, laughter, friends and family and it didn’t disappoint.

When asked what they were most looking forward to on the day the answer was easy. “Spending time with our guests, enjoying some good drinks and food and of course getting married!!

That just about sums up the day.
