Narrelle & Steve - A Heartfelt Wedding at Mewburn Park Homestead
"Have a really good idea about the vibe & feel of the wedding you want, when looking at venues. Then let someone else do all the work for you."
Light, and simply heart-warming, Narrelle & Steve declared their commitment to forever together in a heartfelt wedding at Mewburn Park Homestead.
The day was nothing short of being romantic as the two unlocked another chapter in their love story that began when at Auburn Hotel on a night out with friends a few years back.
"Steve showed up at my front door with flowers for our first date. Our first date was dinner at an Italian restaurant followed by mini golf," the bride shared.
If you think their first date was swoon-worthy, their engagement was even more romantic!
"We got engaged on 19th December 2020. On Whitehaven Beach, after a helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef. Steve planned the whole trip as a surprise and I was blown away," Narrelle explained.
From then on, it's been quite the ride to get to the aisle. And finally, in the presence of their closest family and friends, Narrelle and Steve said their I Dos in a lovely ceremony by Bec Symons. The bride stunned in an intricate white wedding gown from Made with Love Bridal with hair and makeup from Chantelle Jade Bridal and Ctwo Makeup. With a blush-themed flower bouquet from Etc. Events and Styling, her look was truly memorable. Steve complemented her look with a classy black and white suite from YSG Tailors. Next to each other, they were simply, picture-perfect.
The day went by with much more excitement as the reception party was spiced up with styling from Etc. Events and Styling, live music from DJ Nige, an adorable cake setup by Gippsland Cake Co., and of course scrumptious food from Duart Homestead. The guests were definitely in a night filled not only with great fun, but with great moments of laughter and love as the bride and groom celebrated their first day as husband and wife.
