Selina & Matthew's Wedding: Laid-Back Elegance Blooms at Dromana Estate

Bathed in the warm glow of a May sun, Selina and Matthew wove a tapestry of elegant ease at Dromana Estate. I was incredibly honoured to capture every heartfelt moment and joyful interaction as they celebrated their love story, a journey that began at Prahran's Onesixone nightclub in 2011 through a mutual friend. A Facebook connection blossomed into love, solidified with a romantic first date at Pattee Thai on Chapel Street. Fast forward to Noosa in February 2022, where Matt surprised Selina with a beachside proposal at Little Cove, etching their happily ever after in the sand.

Their wedding day unfolded with a tranquil elegance. Matthew, looking dapper in a custom-designed suit by Institchu, exuded timeless groom charm. Selina, a vision in a fairytale gown from Fairytales Bridal Boutique, radiated a classic beauty accentuated by the hairstyling talents of Quinn Smith Hair & Makeup and the makeup artistry of Lizi Hance from Glamourified Makeup.

Dromana Estate provided the perfect backdrop for their laid-back ceremony, officiated by celebrant Tim Barnes. Floral arrangements by Millicent.green added a touch of rustic whimsy, weaving a natural elegance into the ambience. As Selina walked down the aisle, her radiant smile spoke volumes of the love story culminating in this heartfelt exchange of vows. Tim's ceremony was filled with warmth and laughter, a beautiful reflection of Selina and Matthew's easygoing connection.

The celebrations seamlessly flowed into a reception that pulsed with a relaxed sophistication. The sounds of Hey Jack & Co. and Wedding Sounds by JLN filled the air, creating a vibrant atmosphere perfect for celebrating with loved ones. The highlight, however, wasn't captured by my lens – it was the pure joy radiating from Selina and Matthew as they finally got to relax and simply enjoy being married, surrounded by the laughter and love of their closest family and friends. A beautiful cake, lovingly baked by their family friend Lisa O'Toole, added a touch of sweetness to the celebration.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting an ethereal glow over Dromana Estate, Selina and Matthew embarked on their honeymoon, leaving a trail of joy and love in their wake.
