Tefi & Dan's Full Moon Wedding at Merricks North

Tefi and Dan's wedding was truly a celebration to remember. With the ceremony taking place at the beautiful Clifftop in Cairn Beach, Flinders and the reception at Merricks North, the couple was surrounded by the stunning ocean view and the love of their friends and family.

But the fun didn't stop there. The reception was a true reflection of the couple's personalities and their love for Colombia, Tefi's home country. With delicious food and amazing music, guests were transported to Colombia and weren't shy to bust a move on the dance floor. The bride and groom themselves even got in on the action, making for a truly memorable and fun celebration.

The vendors that helped make Tefi and Dan's special day a success included Damon Hughes as the celebrant, Stelo Studio as the florist, Kyha Studios as the dress boutique, Oscar Hunt as the suit designer, and Holly Harnwell as the makeup artist and hair stylist.

But Tefi and Dan's love story is just as unique as their wedding. It all started with a first date at a restaurant by the beach in St Kilda, which ended up being closed. Despite the hiccup, the couple ended up finding another restaurant and spent hours by the beach talking about life until late that night. A few months later, Dan officially asked Tefi out while they were camping on a boat and watching the full moon reflect on the water. From then on, the couple decided to celebrate their anniversary on a full moon rather than a specific date.

And their love only grew stronger during the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, when they spent time together in Port Fairy. In April 2022, Dan planned a surprise trip to Lord Howe Island and packed their day with adventures, including a hike, bike ride, snorkelling, and even swimming with Galapagos sharks. But the surprises didn't end there. Dan had the idea to watch the sunset from the top of a mountain, and despite Tefi's exhaustion and seasickness, she agreed. It was on that mountain, with the sunset and the arrival of the full moon, that Dan proposed.
